Monica M. Wagner is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ serving residents of Monroe County, MI and beyond.  

Her interest in the financial markets and passion for helping others led her to represent this firm whose vision is parallel to her own: to partner for positive impact – to improve the lives of clients, colleagues, and together, better our communities and society. 

Her purpose is to establish a plan that meets the goals you've envisioned, allowing you to enjoy spending time with the people who are important to you and engaging in the things you enjoy in life.  She will break down the many complexities of complete wealth management, explaining them in a way that is easy to understand.  She will consult with other professionals in your life such as your attorney or tax preparer, assuring your goals align. Her business is supported by Sr. Branch Office Administrator Penny S. Hulles, and thousands of people at the home office location in St. Louis, MO, including market strategists, research analysts, and advanced technology. 

Monica is proud to serve a diverse group of clients with wide-ranging goals, creating strategies for asset growth, asset protection, income generation, tax reduction, and wealth transfer.  Many of her current clients serve the local community as businesses owners or working for the following entities: DTE, Ford Motor Company, General Motors, local, state, and Federal Government, Promedica, and many more.

She started her career with Edward Jones in 2010, became a Limited Partner in 2020 and holds the AAMS™ and CFP® designations.  She has embraced the firm's rich culture of volunteerism holding many leadership roles including serving as: hiring team member, compliance information leader, secondary recruiting leader, women's inclusion leader, field trainer, performance team member, and leadership team coach.

Monica has over 20 years of experience and education.  Majoring in Financial Services and minoring in Business Management, she obtained her Bachelor of Business Administration degree from The University of Toledo in 2001.  She has worked for several Wall Street and Fortune 500 firms following her financial education where she gained both financial and life experiences in many areas of the financial industry including: mortgage, consumer credit and lending, as well as investment, and estate planning services. 

Monica resides in Temperance, MI with the love of her life, Nick a Federal Government Employee.  In her spare time, she enjoys entertaining family and friends, and many outdoor activities:  gardening, golf, and downhill skiing. She also enjoys traveling domestically and abroad and always make time to visit the local brewery, winery, and farm to table restaurants. 

Monica finds joy in helping others and belongs to several financial and service organizations including: 100 Women Who Care Monroe County, Detroit Women's Leadership Network, Michigan Women in Finance, Monroe County Business Alliance, Soroptimist International Monroe County, Toledo Ski Club, and Habitat for Humanity Women's Leadership Initiative.
