Couture by Karen is also an authorized dealer for Lafayette Interior Fashions, Eastern Accents Custom Bedding, Horizons Shades and Specialty Group stage drapery. We look forward to assisting you in selecting the best products and designs by addressing your personal needs of privacy, your sense of style, energy savings and allocated funds. From a small valance to an entire house, each project will add beauty and value to your home while keeping up with the latest styles and color trends. We also have a wide variety of contract window treatments available for commercial applications. Our staff will personally handle each step of your project from initial design consultation, to fabrication and installation. Established in 1979, owner Karen Essary is a national award winning designer, a Certified Color Specialist, and certified Hunter Douglas Installer. Karen has over 35 years of professional sewing and fabrication experience, serving clients, decorators and corporate businesses from southeast Michigan, northwest Ohio and beyond.
